Meet Our Team

A University of Georgia graduate, Ryan returned to the Athens area to start Monster Tree Service of Athens after nearly a decade of work in the public sector. He founded the company on the principles of excellent customer service and a nurturing work atmosphere for employees. Ryan is an ISA Certified Arborist (SO-10876A), a TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Specialist, and a licensed commercial pesticide applicator. When he is not running the business, Ryan is an Oconee County Volunteer Firefighter/Medical Responder, a small group leader at Athens Church, and a father to two young children.

Friendly and personable, Nate takes great pride in helping potential customers create a tree care plan that fits their goals, budget, and timeline. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. He is also an ISA Certified Arborist (GO-0039A). In his spare time, Nate is a group leader at Watkinsville First Baptist Church and father to four daughters.

“The Voice of Monster Tree Service,” Holly is often the first impression that many people get when they contact us. She does a great job of answering incoming phone calls, managing employee benefits, and keeping everyone in line! Holly holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication. She enjoys fostering English Springer Spaniels and chasing her two boys around their Bogart home.

Monster Tree Service of Athens’ longest tenured employee, Jeremy is one of the best bucket truck operators in North Georgia. From large tree crane removals to expert pruning, he can handle it all. Noted for his humor, Jeremy is always a favorite with our customers. When he is not working, you can find him fishing with his son.

As Monster Tree Service of Athens’ top climber, Cody prunes and removes some of the most challenging trees in Northeast Georgia.  Growing up in Jackson County, he developed a love for nature and has spent over 8 years in the tree care industry.  On the weekends, Cody takes care of his two kids and tries to relax in the outdoors.
