Pest Control

The emerald ash borer is an invasive insect species that was introduced to the States somewhere in the late 80s or early 90s. Without treatment, a tree infested with this species starts to show flaky, powdering, peeling bark. These insects, left unchecked, can affect the nutrient and water distribution within the tree, eventually killing it.

Our emerald ash borer treatment, where we eliminate pests that are harming the tree, restores the tree to its natural beauty. For trees not infested, our treatments will protect against a potential future invasion. Assessing pest problems and attacking them with a trunk injection, we target the heart of the issue and keep the area around your trees free from harmful pesticides. Bacterial leaf scorch is a tree disease spread by insects. We treat this proactively by keeping the tree healthy, making it less susceptible to the infection. Removing areas affected by the bacteria, our pruning methods salvage and strengthen the rest of the tree, keeping it strong.

Plant Healthcare

Our targeted approach goes from the soil to the leaves. We look at the dirt and, using deep root fertilization, enrich the earth for the health of your plants. Utilizing the latest tools, we pump fertilizer deep into the soil, near the very tip of your tree’s roots. There, the roots can receive nourishment right from the source, making them healthy and strong.

We offer kelp treatments, another deep root solution, to restore damaged trees. Kelp, a seaweed extract, is known to have many health benefits for trees. Its nutrient-rich makeup promotes healthy growth in roots and the tree’s cell structures. Strengthening the trunk, kelp encourages strong water flow within the plant.

In 2008, Monster Tree Service began as a small tree service company providing arboricultural care to Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.
