    It's a crowded field for tree services in New Orleans, but Monster stands above them all. They exhibit professionalism in both their work and communications. For us, they pulled off quite a hat trick, pretty much a miracle, pruning back a massive tree limb that loomed over our house. This gives us a great sense of relief, especially in the middle of hurricane season. I was impressed by how rapidly they did their work, yet paid meticulous attention to detail. I urge my friends, neighbors, and all fellow New Orleanians to go with Monster. They'll do it right!

    Hired Monster Tree Service to trim and shape a very large Monterrey Oak in my front yard. Limbs had begun to touch the roof and had damaged the facia on my two-story home. The crew arrived at 6pm after having been working since 7am that morning. By 7pm they had trimmed and reshaped the tree to my satisfaction, picked up and chipped every log, limb, and twig they removed from the tree, and cleaned the grass and flower bed beneath the tree and all sidewalks and driveway. These guys are awesome!!! Huge thank you to Johnny, Jesus, Jose, Chris and Bryan!!!! Hardest working crew I've seen in this field.

I was unsure as to if I should just have the very large cottonwood tree trimmed or cut down as it had fewer and fewer leaves on it every year. The arborist on the crew recommended I cut it down because he felt it would only survive a few more years. Its a good thing I went with his recommendation. After cutting it down, the trunk of the tree was partially hollow and with a lot of rotting wood in the rest of it.

They were punctual, professional and cleaned up after themselves without any damage to our property. Other than the trees looking beautiful when they were done - you wouldn't even know they were there. Steve/Scott are very knowledgeable and highly professional. BONUS - they own their own equipment. He was very knowledgeable about the various oak trees that were concerning me and explained a good strategy to remove what could be a risk, while maintaining the integrity of trees themselves. 2 days later, the crew came out right on time and completed the job to my satisfaction, exactly as Brandon had explained. They stepped through the process with me to make sure everyone was on the same page, and then showed great care when performing the job. They finished on time, cleaned up the mess, and the trees look great! Would highly recommend and use again in the future. Also, I'm pretty sure my 3 year old wants to be an arborist after watching John use a chainsaw and rappel down some trees!

The crew skillfully manoeuvered their crane into place through our other trees and carefully got the downed tree lifted, cut and laid down without any damage to the garage, POD or other trees and all done with great attitude by all the guys on the crew. Awesome job and I will be getting them back out again for some huge pines that need to be brought down without damaging surrounding live oaks because I know they will be able to do it with care and precision.

    Almost by accident, I came across a flyer for Monster Tree Service at a time when my neighbors and I were looking for a company to clean out the retention basin in our subdivision. I had, by then, already interviewed three or four other companies and had received a number of bids. I thought, why not try just one more, called the office, and by the next day, Monster sent someone out to look at the job and talk to me about what needed to be done. Shortly after that visit, we had a professional and detailed bid in our hands, laying out all of the varying aspects of the job. It is rare to find a company that one can say is exceptional. Monster Tree Service is such a company. From its administrative staff to the technicians in the field, everyone is knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to get the job done, paying attention to detail and going the extra mile. I told him what I needed and he came out the very next day to assess the work. My yard was overgrown from state grown trees suffocating me on my own property with limbs climbing onto my roof. The state refuses to help, you are on your own because they won't come onto private property. John looked around assessed the problem in less than 15 mins and mailed a more than fair quote the very next day. I accepted and in less than two weeks he added me to the schedule and it was done. Now my property has lots of sun - something I have not had in years. Needless to say, I am ecstatic with the results. Thank you, John and the wonderful people who work for you. Danny came out the same day I called to evaluate. He was super knowledgeable about the illness that that was ailing the tree and provided us with a plan to save them (which another company told us to completely remove). He provided us with a written quote that day. The work was fabulous! Our yard was raked and cleaned of all branches and no big divots were left behind. They tied off a ton of all the tree and brought it down. I must say the whole team was the most professional group of people we have ever dealt with. Very good attitudes and everything got done exactly as they said it would. Anybody needing tree service we highly recommend them, we give them 5 stars out of 5 stars!

    Monster Tree was here Monday morning, the 28th, and they arrived on time (actually a few minutes early) and got down to work right away. This is the 4th time I think that we have had them here. They do a magnificent job on our two large Blue Spruce out front. I want them shaped like "gum drops" and that's what I got. Perfect. They took down 2 trees from a neighboring property that were on the property line, they removed two huge piles of wood from pine trees they took down two years ago that we thought we were going to use but didn't, they cleaned out our apple tree, and neatened up/trimmed our two dogwoods out front. They were done in less than 4 hours and when the trucks drove away, you would never have known they were here. No branches, sticks, piles of sawdust anywhere. And every one of the employees is polite and professional. Prices are better than other companies we had used. They are wonderful. Best tree service we've ever had in the 30 years we've lived in this house.

Once they were finished they wanted to make sure that I was happy with the way that the trees look. I will say this for them I learned more about trees than I ever knew. They told me what I need to keep up with and the city codes I never knew that the city has codes for trees on how low they are. Once the job was completed, the yard looked good and they cleaned up everything in the yard. All is well and my trees look wonderful. A short time later, 5 guys show up at my home with 2 very large trucks and a massive chipper and within 4 hours, all large trees were removed and the area was cleaned up of any/all branches. They all know trees and can give you good advice. This last job included the removal of quite a few trees and the grinding of their stumps. It was completed in a timely fashion with consideration of our special circumstances. The cleanup was perfect. The price was right and everyone I dealt with on the phone was pleasant and helpful. You get to talk to someone instead of pressing buttons and getting recordings. They call you back if you miss them. I just can't say enough nice things. In another year we will have more work and you can bet Monster will be doing it.
